Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco
The Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco (RMH-SF) acts as a home away from home for the families of critically ill children being cared for in local San Francisco hospitals, providing, at no charge, temporary housing, volunteer-prepared meals and a sense of community. At a time when parents cannot think of themselves, the caring staff and volunteers of the RMH-SF ensure that families are well taken care of so they can be the best support system possible for their ill child.
This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary, which marks more than 82,000 nights of lodging provided to 4,600 families in need, just as we are on the cusp of opening our second House. The second RMH-SF, in the brand new UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Mission Bay, will help us triple the number of families served!
We invite you to learn more about the House and become a valuable supporter by joining us for the Home Away From Home Gala at the Four Seasons San Francisco on October 17th, 2014. To get all the details, buy tickets or become a sponsor, please visit www.SFGala.com.
