The Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco

RMHThe Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco (RMH-SF) acts as a home away from home for the families of critically ill children being cared for in local San Francisco hospitals, providing – at no charge – temporary housing, volunteer-prepared meals and a sense of community. At a time when parents cannot think of themselves, the caring staff and volunteers of the RMH-SF ensure the families are well taken care of so they can be the best support system possible for their ill child.

Last year RMH-SF provided over 3,423 guest-night stays, served over 2,600 families with its hospital-based programs, and is currently working to triple the number of families served by building a second RMH-SF in the soon-to-be-opened UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Mission Bay.

We invite you to learn more about the House and become a valuable supporter by joining them for the Home Away From Home Gala at the Four Seasons San Francisco on October 18th, 2013. To get all the details, buy tickets or become a sponsor, please visit
